Recent Buy: iShares NASDAQ 100 UCITS ETF EUR HEDGED & IREN Limited

Multiple sectors have been hit lately and especially semiconductors and AI stocks. One contributor seems to have been overly leveraged South Korean market where margin call has hit quite a few investors. Supposedly Situational Awareness fund was also forced to sell a lot if not all public holdings. Therefore I decided to make an early contribution to monthly plan and bought 20 shares of iShares NASDAQ 100 UCITS ETF EUR HEDGED for 16,13 EUR per share. Still not making bigger investments since NASDAQ 100 has not been hit that badly, and then there’s the whole topic of currencies and US interest rates. Yesterday IREN was hit bad after a long streak of down days. I bought 50 shares for 29,90 USD per share and 50 shares for 29,00 USD per share. This brings my total position to 400 shares. Still haven’t decided if these will be a short term swing trade or long position.

Recent Buy: IREN Limited

This might be a part of short term trade but haven’t decided yet. I bought additional 100 shares of IREN Limited for 38,00 USD per share. Lately IREN has swung up and down despite very positive developments. I will consider short swings with my whole position of 300 shares but might also just go long with these.

Recent Buy: iShares NASDAQ 100 UCITS ETF EUR HEDGED & XACT Nordic High Dividend Low Volatility ETF

Dividend re-investment time with very little new capital as markets seem to be valued way too high in general. But like planned, my bare minimum is monthly contribution type of investments in NASDAQ 100 and in Nordic markets. In general I see potential in Nordic stocks compared to most other markets but not exactly with the stocks included in XACT Nordic High Dividend Low Volatility ETF as it has – among other things – quite high concentration of banking and finance stocks. But assuming that my general thesis for Nordic stocks is correct, those stocks might work as a rough proxy for well progressing Nordic companies as a whole while producing income. Therefore I bought:

  • iShares NASDAQ 100 UCITS ETF EUR HEDGED: 10 shares for 17,318 EUR per share
  • XACT Nordic High Dividend Low Volatility ETF: 50 shares for 167,90 SEK per share

Recent Buy: IREN Limited

This was a tricky one. Main IREN thesis is intact but lately they have made some stupid moves. Wasting money on sponsorship deals is one thing, overblown compensation packages for management is something totally different. Latter explains the most recent drop and I can´t really blame people selling as I have been tempted to sell myself. Instead I decided to round up this position to even 200 shares but will keep an eye on this going forward. I bought additional 20 shares for 37,99 USD per share and like said own now 200 shares. Therefore this is not a big position but still…
